Where do we start? Wow what a role! Your days will be busy, varied and exciting; there will never be a dull moment in this role. You will be the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director whilst undertaking elements of accounts, being the face of the company along with assisting and supporting the surrounding teams. Your daily duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assist and support the Managing Director ensuring their days run smoothly effectively and efficiently
  • Diary, travel and email management
  • Event management
  • Booking and preparation of meeting rooms
  • Processing of purchase orders
  • Processing of invoices
  • Reconciliations
  • Administration
  • Processing and loading of accounts
  • Open and closing of jobs and job costings
  • Competitor research
  • Social media management
  • Oversee the daily running of the office

You will take pride in your work along with being methodical, thorough with high attention to detail and accuracy. Along with having a willing and can do attitude with the ability to remain focussed on the tasks at hand, making good use of your initiative and having the capacity to be across many tasks at any one time will put you in the front seat for this fantastic role. Other skills and attributes needed include:

  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to pre-empt the needs of others
  • Thinks quickly on your toes
  • Previous accounts experience
  • Advanced knowledge using the Microsoft suite
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritising skills
  • Approachable, adaptable, flexible with a willing and can do attitude
  • The ability to juggle a high volume workload
