You will be joining a very successful NZ owned and operated Transport / Logistics organisation who have a strong reputable presence in the marketplace, they are recognised as Auckland’s most professional cartage contractors. Their fleet enables them to offer a wide range of service types from nationwide goods & freight, logistics & distribution; managing the delivery through planning to precise execution, and heavy haulage.  Nothing is too big or small for this company.

In this role of Operations Manager you will be leading and managing the division specialising in the delivery of a specialised building product to building sites. You will manage the daily and future operational requirements; the range of duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Staff management
  • Health & Safety (“Target Zero Harm”)
  • Streamline and implement effective and efficient systems and procedures
  • Project work
  • Ensuring SLA’s and KPI’s are adhered too and maintained
  • Reporting
  • Site check and audits
  • Resource allocation; plan, monitor, co-ordination of orders and deliveries for the coming days
  • Performance management
  • Staff training and development
  • Service quality management
  • Service optimisation
  • Budgeting and financial reporting
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Administration
