About the role

This is a sole charge role where you will be assisting and supporting the Solicitor / Barrister specialising in conveyancing being his right hand person, alleviating his administration functions. You will be ensuring his days run smoothly, effectively and efficiently whilst building lasting relationships with clients and helping to expand and grow the business. Your duties and responsibilities will consist of:

  • Personal Assistant to the Solicitor / Barrister
  • Opening and closing of files
  • Preparation of documentation and correspondence
  • Liaising with external parties
  • Booking of appointments
  • Dictation typing
  • Filing
  • Website & social media management
  • Preparation of monthly newsletters

Skills & experience

To be the successful candidate you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Willing, can do, flexible, attitude
  • Self-motivated, driven, committed and professional
  • Previous experience within Conveyancing
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and to deadlines
  • Takes responsibility and accountability for your role and actions
