Join this small close knit team in this 9 month contract for a boutique law firm, conveniently located in Mt Albert, just 2 minute walk from the train, close to shops, cafes and restaurants. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to gain more experience in a law firm. Ideally you will have a couple of years of reception / administration experience behind you; along with being a self-starter and you will have great communication skills both in English and Mandarin. The typical duties and responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Answer the phones, screen and direct calls accordingly
  • File legal documentation
  • General office upkeep
  • Open and close client files
  • Collect and distribute the mail
  • Prepare files for archiving to be sent offsite
  • Administration

If you have a can-do attitude, can work independently and are committed and loyal then this great 9 month contract could be the ideal role for you. You will also have the following skills and experiences:

  • Conversant in Mandarin *essential*
  • Previous experience in a Reception / Administration role
  • Intermediate knowledge using Word and Excel
  • Excellent English communication skills with a cheerful phone manner
  • Have a good geographical understanding of the Auckland area
  • You can think on your feet and are solution focused
  • A real bonus would be if you have previously used Junior Partner (law system) and also if you have some accounting knowledge
