 About the role

In this important role you will be reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be leading a team in the development of product/concept development plans as well as successfully execute projects of any scale or complexity. You will have an advanced understanding of production and operations issues as they relate to engineering project management, including the ability to successfully identify and reduce risks. Whilst managing multiple projects simultaneously your duties and responsibilities will also include:

  • Work on mid-to-large scale and complex projects (usually 6 – 12 month duration)
  • Defining and creating a development plan
  • Understanding and communicating the projects scope, milestone and decisions
  • Lead effective weekly project meetings
  • Drive decisions to keep projects moving forward
  • Bi-weekly reporting on any critical gateways and issues
  • Determine feasibility of projects goals and objectives
  • Be a mentor and share knowledge with other Project Managers
  • Working with manufacturing facilities
  • Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders 

Skills & Experience

  • You will hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Science in a technical discipline and relevant project management experience (5 years minimum)
  • A background in electronic consumer products desirable or a keen interest in audio
  • Detail orientated
  • Good time management and schedule driven with the ability to minimise delays
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • Self-motivated, a team player and a positive attitude
  • Excellent PC skills, with advanced level in Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Top notch communication skills both verbal and written
