Join this well established office furniture manufacture who are going from strength to strength; currently in growth phase they need an experienced accounts person to hit the ground running! The duties and responsibilities involved within this role will include:

  • Debtors / Creditors
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining the database
  • Managing outstanding purchase orders
  • Process payroll and weekly wages through IMS payroll system
  • Assist in the preparation of GST returns and PAYE
  • Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly journals and financial statements
  • Reconcile expenses
  • Banking
  • Customer service
  • General administrative duties

The skills and attributes you will possess to be successful in this role include: 

  • Have previously worked within an similar accounts role – able to hit the ground running
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent on Word, Excel, MoneyWorks (or similar accounting packages)
  • Adaptable to change and embraces change
  • Makes good use of your initiative, and sees opportunities for efficiencies
  • Friendly, outgoing and a team player
  • Able to prioritise your workload, good time management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
