Do you have strong bookkeeping and office management experience working within Imports / Wholesale ideally in fashion or homeware industries where you have had sole responsibility for your role? If so, then this is the job for you!

Diversity in this type of role doesn’t come around often. This is an exceptional opportunity to make your mark and stamp your territory! In this varied, busy and diverse sole charge role of Bookkeeper/Office Manager the associated duties and responsibilities will include:

  • All accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, taking the accounts through to trial balance
  • Budget management
  • IRD returns- PAYE, FBT, GST and Australian GST
  • Foreign exchange
  • Credit control
  • Monthly financial reporting for the external Accountant
  • Payroll (13 staff fortnightly)
  • Right hand person to the owner operator
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Problem solve and trouble shoot
  • Supplier negotiations
  • Office management, ensuring office operates smoothly, effectively and efficiently

The ideal candidate for this role will have an exceptional can do attitude with a willingness to expand their knowledge. You will have the following skills and experiences:

  •  Proven bookkeeping, foreign exchange and office management skills and experience
  • Strong knowledge of EXO and MYOB
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Logical thinker with excellent analytical aptitude
  • Innovative, resourceful, with a “can- do” attitude
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Takes responsibility and accountability for their actions and role
  • Self-motivated team player
