We are looking for an experienced Legal Administrator / Personal Assistant who has 3+ years’ experience within the litigation sector. Your role will be assisting and supporting senior partners who combined have a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with the associated team. Within this role you will be using the following systems ADLS legal forms, LINZ database, PPSR, Summation and Companies Office on a daily basis, whilst undertaking the associated daily functions:

  • Diary management
  • Travel and email management
  • Preparation of invoices and statements
  • Billing
  • Closing and archiving files
  • Preparation of correspondence and documentation
  • Liaising with accountants and preparation of third party disbursements
  • Maintain and update clients’ files
  • Tracking and follow up of documents
  • Dictaphone and copy typing

 Skills & experience

To be successful in this role you will have previously worked within the litigation sector bringing your wealth of knowledge, skills and experiences. Previous experience using Summation and associated systems is essential to hit the ground running. You will take responsibility, accountability and ownership for your role and actions, make good use of your initiative, with the ability to pre-empt the needs of others, whilst always taking a fresh approach. You will have excellent communication skills both written and oral, with high attention to detail and accuracy. You will be an effective and efficient team player who is motivated to achieve.
