Join this innovative, award winning, forward thinking architecture firm who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant, for a sole charge part time maternity cover contract (6 months). You will be working 3 days per week; they offer flexibility for the right candidate re days and hours. The duties and responsibilities involved within this role will include:

  • All day to day accounting functions (Xero)
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Invoicing
  • End of month
  • Preparation of the accounts to send to the external Accountant monthly
  • Credit control
  • Payroll
  • Preparation of PAYE and GST 

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role include: 

  • Have previously worked within an similar accounts role – able to hit the ground running
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Transparent in your approach
  • Remains calm and collected under pressure
  • Makes good use of your initiative, and gets on with the tasks at hand
  • Flexible, adaptable and approachable
  • Takes responsibility, accountability for your role and actions
  • Strong relationship building skills and people skills
