About the role

This role is working in a specialised Engineering (Construction industry) firm with a wealth of knowledge within their field. They are seeking a switched-on proactive Administrator who thrives on creating processes and procedures ensuring all tasks are streamlined. You will be assisting and supporting the Engineers alleviating their administration tasks allowing them to focus on the core of their business, your daily duties and responsibilities will include: 

  • Loading, tracking and updating of jobs
  • Invoicing jobs
  • Typing documents
  • Implementation of processes and procedures
  • Document management
  • Processing Payroll (ACE Payroll)
  • Administration

Skills & experience

To be the successful candidate for this role you will have a strong administration background with the ability to work autonomously and as part of the team, you will have the desire to seek and understand the needs of the business and help implement processes with the least amount of impact. Bringing with you the following skills and experiences:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Experience within the construction industry (advantageous)
  • Advanced knowledge of using Word and Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Motivated, supportive, adaptable and flexible attitude essential
  • Makes good use of your initiative
