This organisation operates a number of small companies and investments. As part time Sole Charge Office Manager you will have full accountability, ownership and responsibility of all their day to day accounts using MYOB. It is essential you have strong experience using MYOB and enjoy a very autonomous role.

Typically this role will incorporate the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Reconciliations
  • Payroll approx 8 staff plus seasonal casuals
  • GST and PAYE returns
  • Credit control
  • Cash flow management
  • Invoicing suppliers
  • Reconciling sales
  • Month-end preparations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation of financial reports
  • Office administration

Skills & experience required to be successful in this role include:

  • Competent and confident working with MYOB
  • Small – medium business accounting experience
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Honest and reliable
  • Thinks outside the square creating innovative solutions
  • Self-motivated, self-managing and independent

This is a very sole charge and autonomous role; you will interact with the company owner on a daily basis. You must be committed and available to work in the city 15 hours a week, either working 2 or 3 days a week.
