This great close knit team is seeking a Sales Support / Administrator who is natural at juggling a multitude of tasks and responsibilities at any one time, and likes to be the crucial link between customers, suppliers and the team. You will be energetic, a go-getter, and most importantly enjoy a role with a large element of customer service interaction (phone and email) and administration functions.

About the role / Duties & responsibilities

This role of Sales Support / Administrator has elements of everything, including: administration, database management, customer service, considerable customer and supplier interaction, inventory, problem solving and troubleshooting, along with assisting and supporting the surrounding team. You will be joining a specialised boutique online alcoholic beverage FMCG organisation, the team is close knit and work really well together, it can be a social environment (there are many industry events and functions), the team work hard yet have a lot of fun along the way.

The range of duties and responsibilities associated to this role include:

  • Dealing with and answering customer queries (phone and email)
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting
  • Database management
  • Extensive customer and supplier interaction
  • Helping customers with their online orders
  • Administration
  • Sales support
  • Business development, contacting new and existing customers
  • Ensuring the office operates smoothly, effectively and efficiently

Skills & experience required

What is essential is that you are confident and outgoing! You can’t be afraid to pick up the phone to ascertain information.  You must be personable, a great communicator (clear and concise!), able to think outside the square and quickly, have a great work ethic, coupled with proven relevant skills and experience.
