Operations Administrator

New Zealand owned and operated family business specialising in transportation and heavy haulage seeks an Operations Administrator to undertake a busy, varied, diverse multi-faceted role.

The office of this transportation and heavy haulage company needs a switched on, quick thinking and resourceful Operations Administrator to oversee and co-ordinate all day to day operational activities within the business.  Your day will incorporate a varied and diverse range of duties and responsibilities including:

  • Quotes, pricing and invoicing
  • Oversee and manage staff workloads and productivity
  • Schedule fleet servicing and maintenance
  • Assist and support the Dispatcher
  • Monthly reports
  • Health & safety
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve
  • Ensure the department operates smoothly, effectively and efficiently

To be successful in this role you will be a people person, resourceful, quick thinking, thick skinned, solution orientated along with being firm yet fair.  You will enjoy managing people and workloads, problem solving and having a role which is challenging, busy, varied and diverse where no two days are the same.
