Administration Manager

New Zealand owned and operated family business specialising in mechanical services, repairs and maintenance of trucks, cars, forklifts, diggers and tractors.  The business is growing rapidly because of their reputation of quality workmanship and high level of service.

The team of mechanics need a switched on, quick thinking and resourceful Administration Manager to oversee and co-ordinate all day to day activities within the business.  Your day will incorporate a varied and diverse range of duties and responsibilities including:

  • Front of house duties, customer service
  • Schedule mechanical jobs and staff allocation
  • Inventory management
  • Order stationery, stock and parts
  • Quotes and Invoicing
  • Oversee and manage staff workloads and productivity
  • Schedule fleet servicing
  • Monthly reports
  • Health & safety
  • Trouble shoot, and problem solve
  • Ensure the office operates smoothly, effectively and efficiently

Ideally you will have worked in a mechanical workshop in an administration capacity or have scheduled technicians, overseen staff, invoiced, and have a strong administration skill set.  You will be joining a male dominated environment so shrinking violets not required to apply!

To be successful in this role you will be a people person, resourceful, quick thinking, thick skinned, solution orientated along with being firm yet fair.  You will enjoy managing people and workloads, problem solving and having a role which is challenging, busy, varied and diverse where no two days are the same.
