In this position you will assist and support Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Registered Nurses, Medical Physicists and other health professionals to ensure their day runs smoothly and that patients are given top notch service. This position has a range of duties and responsibilities including:
- Assist with patients enquiries over the phone
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Update and maintain booking schedules
- Maintain and update patient files
- Cover reception breaks when needed
- Ensure the office operates smoothly, efficiently and effectively
This is busy role so it is important you are organised, efficient and have excellent communication skills. Along with having medical administration experience it would also be helpful if you have an understanding of oncology terminology. You will also need to be resilient, adaptable, show empathy and awareness of different cultural backgrounds.
