Customer Service / Administrator

About the role

Join a down to earth, loyal team within this busy manufacturing environment where no two days will be the same. You will be involved in all aspects of customer service and administration including: 

  • Respond to email and phone enquiries
  • Greet any incoming visitors
  • Update and maintain the database
  • Process customers’ orders
  • Provide quotes
  • Invoice all orders
  • Respond to and resolve any customer complaints
  • Process credits
  • Liaise with purchasing, production and freight forwarders
  • Compile documents for freight forwarding, export shipments globally
  • Ensure export regulations are adhered to 

Skills & experience

To be suitable for this busy important role it is ideal that you have come from an exports, shipping, freight or logistics industry along with having the following skills and attributes:

  • Competent user on Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Can work autonomously and require very little supervision
  • Self-driven, positive and have a can-do attitude
  • Previous experience with Exonet preferred
  • Professionalism and able to use your initiative and think on your feet
  • Able to plan and prioritise to ensure your day runs smoothly
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
