Executive Assistant

This Executive Assistant role has it all. You will be working for a Māori Trust organisation whose focus is its kaimahi, whānau and communities, they are hugely committed and passionate about what they do, you will be the right-hand person to a remarkable and highly respected CEO, and you will have work location flexibility; working 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week from home.  What more could you possibly want?

As Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and Board you will be surrounded by a highly committed and passionate team who delivers a broad range of primarily Māori social and environment programmes and initiatives along with various commercial investments.

You will be juggling multiple tasks whilst always remaining on top of your game. This is a busy and challenging Executive Assistant role which requires someone to hit the ground running with a natural flare for being highly organised, always keeping one step ahead, with an understanding of Te Reo Māori.

As a well-versed Executive Assistant, you will naturally have the aptitude to solve problems and read between the lines, have a strong sense of initiative and intuitiveness and be well skilled at anticipating, removing, and diverting obstacles with the goal of always being one step ahead of the game, keeping the CEO and Board briefed, prepared, and organised.

From complex calendar management, project work, handling confidential matters, event management, meeting preparation including Board meetings and minutes, onboarding new staff, to engaging with internal and external stakeholders, it’s down to you as the Executive Assistant to ensure the smooth running of each day in a dynamic ever-changing environment.
