Wanted … experienced Accounts Assistant wanting to work 20 hours a week (Monday to Friday) with strong accounts receivable and payable experience who is exceptionally well organised, driven, highly motivated, diligent and who has a sharp eye noting detail and accuracy.

 In this role of Part time Accounts Assistant you will assist and support the Finance Manager (who works remotely).  The role is autonomous; you will have full responsibility, accountability and ownership for your role and actions.  Your days will be busy, varied and will cover a kaleidoscope of duties ranging from:

  • Preparing and processing accounts payable
  • Preparing and processing billings and accounts receivable
  • Processing of bank account transactions into SAP
  • Check and process expense claims
  • Reconciliation creditors and debtors accounts
  • Support month end reporting process
  • Credit control
  • Accounts administration
  • Administration of direct link banking
  • Invoicing annual licences / subscriptions

 To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes and experience:

  • Strong accounting package skills and experience (MYOB, Xero, SAP, etc)
  • Proven accounts payable and receivable skills and experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive and willing attitude
  • Makes good use of your initiative and common sense
  • Team player
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
  • Quick learner who can hit the ground running
