You will recognise who this stylish home textiles company is! They specialise in designing, sourcing, and bringing to market a wide diversity of textile homeware products and are highly regarded as one of the most innovative suppliers. Supplying a comprehensive series of brands to both major and independent retailers, they are a New Zealand owned and operated business based on the Northshore. You will be joining a great close-knit team who work well together.
You get to be the link between key retailers and the freight forwarding company (3PL). Do you enjoy being organised, methodical, a quick learner and a lateral thinker? If you are well organised and like juggling multiple tasks at any one time, then this is the role for you. You will be working with multiple excel spreadsheets by updating and maintaining inventory, stock levels, barcodes, orders and deliveries along with product information.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Processing of sales orders
- Ensure SLA’s are adhered to and maintained
- Manage supplier and customer enquiries
- Inventory management
- Monitor customer orders and forecasts
- Processing credits
- Ensure the department operates smoothly, effectively and efficiently
- Administration
- Trouble shooting and problem solving
- Ensure Key Accounts are managed accordingly
- Point of contact for Customers, Suppliers and 3PL
- Preparation of reports
- Update and maintain new product spreadsheets and documentation
- Co-ordination of logistics and deliveries
To be successful in this role of Sales Support we are seeking skills, experience, personality and character traits including:
- Strong experience and ability using Excel
- Quick learner
- Good listener with strong memory retention
- Strong customer service focus
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, the ability to work under pressure and independently
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Takes responsibility, accountability and ownership for your role and actions
- Thinks outside the square creating innovative solutions and thinks quickly on your feet
