Accounts Assistant / Office Manager

This NZ owned and operated businesses based in Mt Eden currently in growth phase are searching for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Office Manager to hit the ground running!

This busy and varied Accounts Assistant / Office Manager role will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Taking accounts through to trial balance
  • Credit Control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Process monthly payroll (40 staff)
  • GST and PAYE returns
  • Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements
  • Administration
  • Ensure the office operates smoothly, effectively and efficiently

To be successful in this role you will need strong attention to detail, be a super organised multitasker, methodical, energetic and accurate with a can do attitude. Other skills, experience and traits needed for this role include: 

  • Proven Office Manager and Accounts experience
  • Confident using Money works or similar accounting packages
  • IMS payroll experience (advantage)
  • Team player yet can also work independently
