About the role

In this role of Recruitment Consultant you will join a team of 2 highly experienced Recruiters along with our superb Team Administrator who ensures our days run smoothly! Your desk has an established base of clients Auckland wide covering different industries, so your job will be to maintain and build on those great relationships whilst also obtaining new business. You will have plenty of drive, tenacity and a results-orientated approach. Here at Cavanagh & Associates we really focus on quality rather than quantity, so if you are more about the “scatter gun” approach then this is not the role for you! Looking after a hybrid desk means that your day will be busy and varied, recruiting for temp, perm and contract office support positions.

About you

Along with being confident in your ability to bring on new business, you will also need to have the following skills and attributes:

  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A background in recruitment or business to business sales is essential
  • Motivation, initiative, resilience and drive with passion to succeed
  • Strong customer service and relationship building skills
  • Strong work ethic, honesty and integrity
